Q:
Which championships are eligible as Qualifying Series for the TWG2025?
A:The eligible events are
- The ILS Lifesaving World Championships 2024.
Times achieved at this event will be recognised provided they equal or are inside the minimum standard time. - Any ILS Regional Championships (ILS Europe, ILS Americas, ILS Africa, ILS Asia-Pacific)
held during the qualifying period from 1 August 2023 to 31 January 2025. Times achieved at these events will be recognised provided they equal or are inside the minimum standard time. - An existing international Pool Lifesaving competition.
Times achieved at a recognised international event, such as the German Cup, Spanish Cup, Orange Cup, Commonwealth Championships, etc, if they are sanctioned by the ILS, can be submitted as a qualifying time, provided they are equal to or are inside the minimum standard time. - A federation’s National Championships:
Times achieved at such an event, provided it is sanctioned by the ILS, can be submitted as a qualifying time, provided they are equal to or are inside the minimum standard time.
