As the first-ever TWG Series event to take place in the Chinese mainland, the competition has attracted 123 athletes from over 20 countries and regions. The event will feature three sports with a total of four disciplines: Underwater Sports (Finswimming and Freediving), Life Saving (Pool), and Boules Sports (Pétanque).
